Good news first! I think I found the bike I am going to buy in Austin. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ! Good cheap bike, racing livery, and I can finance it for not that much.

The bad news? I blew a shock on my S2000 D: and I don't want to replace all 4, so I have to figure something out.

Right, so get the bike, get a job as a suntman pizza delivery guy, perform stunts during pizza deliveries, attract the attention of a Hollywood action movie director, land a job as the next big action movie star, get paid, replace shocks on S2000. Easy!

Seriously, though, congrats on the bike, if you do get it. How long can you keep the S2000 parked before you absolutely have to have it back on the road?

I am only going to be using the S2000 for the run back and forth from Houston and Austin. I can get a used pair of AP1 shocks, or OEM replacement ones for not that bad, it's just ordering them and getting them installed

Oh yeah, that can be a bitch... I swapped the shocks on my Tipo a while ago and I think it's actually riding a bit higher than it used to. Handling has definitely improved, but it's still weird :p

The CBR300R is available in a couple of months, might be worth holding out for that? I think it's only $200~ more. The 250cc version is great fun as is though!

Nice bike. I think I'm gonna spring for a CB300F when it comes out in another few months.

Are you commuting between Houston and Austin? I did Dallas/Austin for a couple months while my wife was finishing up her semester in school and whatnot. It gets old quick :)

That's not too much of an ass beating. I was driving back to Dallas every Friday afternoon and then returning to Austin on Sunday nights. While in Dallas, I was spending the entire weekend helping to pack the house. I was REALLY glad to get my wife moved down here to Austin with me.
